The weather is getting warmer. The roads of the city heat up so that the tar repairing the cracks catch the heel of a stiletto shoe. People wear less clothing. This ups the ante: a burlesque star should never be more clothed than people on the street.
I am pleased to announce three major events that are entirely in the interest of teasing, taunting and titillating.
Revue Royale Burlesque will be submitting auditions to enter the First Montreal Burlesque Festival. There will be both performance and competition as well as workshops to attend. This is an exciting step in the development of both our national profile and our abilities as artists!

This leads me to our second exciting announcement: Our next show, “Summer Lovin’” will be on July 17th-18th, 8:00pm at the Rum Runner. Not only will this show bring to you some delightful performers that you have met and loved in our previous shows, we will be bringing in new people. We also will be creating a spectacle unlike anything that has been seen in Kitchener yet. It will also be a fundraising show for our trip to Montreal!
My third and final announcement is that Revue Royale has been asked to perform two after parties for IMPACT.
IMPACT is the International Multicultural Platform for Alternative and Contemporary Theatre. The festival will be featuring top acts from around the world.
Stay tuned to this blog for up to the minute information on these three exciting performances.
